After finally getting around to opening his trunk and sorting out his office so it looked neat and tidy and how Ted imagined a real Professor's office should look. Though he wasn't sure how long it would stay that way! He found himself wondering what to do with himself even with the whole of Hogwarts school back at his feet.
He closed his office door, locking it behind him. He wouldn't put it past some Slytherin Students to ransack it whilst he was not there. He looked up at the door as he shoved his wand inside his trouser pocket and saw a plaque stuck to it with the words, Ted Lupin Defence Against The Dark Arts Professor. It made him smile and he felt quite proud of himself.
He decided that as it was a pleasant day he thought the grounds seemed to be a nice place to take a stroll. Perhaps the lake. He had pleasant memories from down there. So that is were he went. Walking slowly through the school, making sure to take in every sight that met his eyes, it was almost like being a new student here as Teddy found himself going down a wrong corridor and having to back track and almost getting stuck in a trick step that he only just remembered was there.
He pushed open the oak front doors and was met by a cool breeze that lifted up his dark curly hair. He sped up as he walked across the lawns. He could see the lake and it looked just as he remembered it. Smiling to himself once again, he walked around the edge and his eyes soon met someone else. That someone had long blond hair and was sitting with both legs in the cool waters. Teddy noticed as he drew nearer that they were too old to be a student.
He furrowed his eyebrows he was sure this girl or should he say young woman looked familiar. Too familiar. And then it hit him. "Victoire?" He said, stopping just feet away from her. "What are you doing here?"

The cool water embraced her legs; the feeling so peaceful, that it caused Victoire to drift into thoughts of her past, memories that had never been forgotten. Too often had her friends.. her boyfriend.. gone down to the lake to escape the stress and irritations of school, and her secret escapades out of the castle at night to these very grounds seemed almost too vivid as she wondered how she had never gotten caught.. As her thoughts trailed on, she heard a man say her voice behind her, snapping her back to reality.
Nearly jumping straight off of her seat on the grass, Victoire looked behind her, blinking as if the man behind her hadn't truly been standing there. There, standing directly to the rear of her, stood, who she was positive, Teddy Lupin: attractive, warm, and just the same as ever. It had almost been that her pleas for somebody to join her at the lake had been heard by someone, at least. However, she had no clue that she would be blessed with the presence of Teddy, as the two hadn't talked for awhile. Which was strange, considering they were pretty close.
Eyeing the man behind her as if to study his new, developed features, Victoire exclaimed, "Teddy, I could ask you the same, no?" Smiling, she continued, "Well, I've been given the class of Charms to teach here. I don't know if you remember, but I was quite the skilled charmer as a student here." Still observing him closely, she remembered everything about Teddy. His fun-loving, out-going attitude, his effect on women, and so much more. There always seemed to be something about him, and it always caught Victoire's eyes.
As she awaited his reply, Victoire's mind drifted from the current situation again, this time, returning to a deserted crevice within Platform Nine & Three-Quarters. The Hogwarts Express had caused an amount of steam to petrude from beneath it, causing things to be a bit hard to make-out. However, as Victoire had been getting ready to spend her last year at Hogwarts without Teddy, somebody she felt had been so close to her, that didn't stop the pair to share a final, goodbye snog. Of course, it could've been a bit longer, but the interruption of her young cousin caused a bit of a complication. Without knowing it, Victoire let out a small giggle, reminiscing of her past.

Hands stuffed in his pockets, Teddy was trying to act cool as he had so often done when he was at the school, trying to catch a good looking girls eye. Teddy sub consciously looked himself up and down, checking his appearance. He felt just as he did when he was at Hogwarts making sure he wasn't making a fool of himself. Get a grip Ted, you're a professor now.
Surely he didn't have to try and catch Victorire's attention. She was staring at him now and they had been together at one point. Teddy's thoughts roamed to the peaceful times in the grounds and once on platform 9 3/4 where they had shared many beautiful days, a lot of the time spent snogging admittedly but they were young then. But Teddy had to admit as he smiled at her when she spoke that he wouldn't mind repeating the experience, she was beautiful.
Thankfully, Teddy found an excuse to pull his hands out of his pockets, he spread them wide and said, "I'm teaching here to." He clapped them back by his side not wanting to stand there like an idiot with his arms spread out. "Defence against the dark arts." Teddy doubted he needed to explain that he was almost always top in that subject. The only one he did well in. "Oh I remember your charms skill." He nodded. "It was just with a wand she could charm people. She was a veela after all. Or half of one, however it worked.
Teddy was still smiling and his grin stretched further as she let out a laugh. Only because it was exactly how he remembered it. Then it struck him she was laughing at him. Again he checked his appearance but could find nothing wrong with it so shrugging to himself he sat down next to her. "Hope you don't mind." He said as he sat, looking out at the lake. "What're you giggling at? I hope it's not me."

Indeed, Victoire was part veela, and it only caused trouble, mostly, when she was in Hogwarts. She can remember being with Teddy, and her veela charm would go off almost randomly, causing guys around her to stare at her, approach her, almost as if they were in some kind of bizarre trance. Always feeling ashamed because she thought Teddy was jealous, Victoire never had the courage to ask him if it bothered him, but she had a feeling that since she was his, he was content. However, she definitely could've been wrong. She somewhat had a tendancy to.. misread people, quite a bit.
As Teddy took a seat next to her, there was more of a sense of familiarity to Hogwarts. Sure, Victoire's memories provided her with her past, but with him sitting next to her, it made her mind delve into a whole new set of memories. Maybe it was the fact that they had spent so much time together as kids here; or maybe it was something more? Her mind drifted back to the days they spent by the lake, Teddy entertaining her and making her laugh with his various transformations he could make, considering he was a metamorphmagus. It was the pleasant days down at the lake with her friends, mostly Teddy, that made Victoire miss this place so much. However, as they became adults, they seemed to have lost contact for awhile, for no apparent reason.
The two saw each other occasionally; their families somewhat intertwined due to the event that took place so many years ago. It was Teddy's question that brought her out of her memories, and she blinked, replying, adding another giggle, just to see his reaction, "Oh, nothing.." Victoire flashed him a smile, knowing that he wouldn't let her get away with something like that, "Haha, well, I was just thinking about how long we would spend down here, how many times we would sneak out.." She brushed a strand of blonde hair out of her path of vision, so it wouldn't obstruct her view of Teddy, "..and how many times my cousins walked in on us, remember all of that?"
As the cool breeze picked up again, Victoire's blonde hair whipped to the side of her face in a natural, flowing motion as she stared at Teddy, waiting for him to say he remembered. Of course he would remember, wouldn't he? Victoire thoguht, almost worried. It hadn't been just she who valued these moments, and teasured the memories brought by them for years to come? God, what was she doing? She was acting as if she were a little schoolgirl again. This situation was much different; Victoire was a Professor.

How could Teddy not remember? It was those days at Hogwarts he lived for. Those, special precious moments, the times he spent with Victoire. It was odd now, to think that they were sitting side by side, talking about stuff that happened years ago. It wasn't like Teddy was afraid of aging, but it was shocking him deeply how time flew by.
Look at James, when Teddy had been at Hogwarts, he was a little first year and now, he was as old as the Teddy he was thinking about now. He shook his head and smiled a smile that was full of reminiscing."Oh yes, I remember. Vaguely." He added sarcastically. "I seem to remember that it was often James Potter who would appear out of nowhere and pester us."
He laughed again. "He has that annoying problem of turning up when you least want him to. Do you remember that time at the train station, just before your last year, when he just came up and started having a conversation with me? He seemed mortified that we were kissing in public."
He trailed off thinking, lost in his own thoughts for a few moments but they soon brought him back down to earth. "Oh, I so hope I can catch him this year."Teddy's eyes flashed as he spoke. "Walk in on him, see how he likes it."

As Teddy spoke, Victoire reached back and pulled the thin hairtie from her hair, letting it fall a little past her shoulders; at that moment, she realized that the wind blowing her hair almost furiously was a bit annoying, but as long as she kept looking in Teddy's direction, it wouldn't get in her face. She slipped the hairtie around her wrist, Smiling at the things Teddy was saying, as they were a bit funny, especially with his sarcastic tone.
Victoire had always remembered her days with Teddy. Normally, when she was alone or worried about something or some situation, she would revisit her days at Hogwarts from within her memories. Obviously, with her memories, Teddy was almost a give-in as well, considering they had been by each other's sides almost since Victoire's first day attending the amazing school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
"Yeah, James always stepped in on us when we were, I guess, enjoying ourselves," Victoire let out a small giggle at the way she had worded it; it was almost too often that the pair had snuck down some empty corridor to escape from other's views. Indeed, their teenage hormones most likely had gotten the best of them, but it wasn't really a problem. Their teenaged years were meant to have fun, right?
Laughing as Teddy expressed his desire to interrupt James while he was in the middle of some private time with a lucky girl, Victoire said, "I'd be surprised if he hasn't, yet. I mean, he's a cute kid, has a nice personality, and I know I'd like to get close to the son of the oh-so-famous Harry Potter." Letting out a small laugh, Victoire wondered what Teddy would think of her last statement, and a whole new array of questions rushed through her mind: Would Teddy think she's moved on from her feelings toward him? Has he moved on? Did she, herself, have feelings for him..again?

He watched as Victoire pulled down her hair. He had always loved her hair. It's soft, sweet smell, his hand running through it... He pulled himself together quickly. Surely he still didn't think like that? Teddy always thought that they were just teenage hormones and that as he grew older, all of that stuff would die out.
But as he thought about it, he realised that he was still just a kid at heart, he always thought of himself in that way, easy going, sometimes hyperactive, clumsy... And maybe, he dared himself to think it, maybe he still had feelings for Victoire? Maybe it was more than just what he thought had been a silly crush or bit of fun. Maybe it had escalated to love? They'd literally grown up together, admittedly they'd fallen apart since both leaving Hogwarts and following different paths. But they'd met again. Was it fate?
He was brought to his senses when she spoke and Teddy nodded his agreement. He laughed and said. "I don't think professors are allowed relationships with students." He knew, or at least he thought, she was just joking around and stating what was fact he himself knew plenty of people who were raving about Harry Potter and his children. A lot of them, teenage girls. It was odd, knowing that when he'd grown up with the family.
"How's your family doing he asked?" He realised that he had not visited the Weasley's in quite a long time. He'd been keeping his head down recently. Preparing for his interview for his job at Hogwarts. He'd have to go and see the lot of them soon. Though maybe, as there was too many weasley's to count, that he'd have to wait until the first break. He supposed that now being a professor he'd have a lot on his hands.

Victoire's heart skipped as Teddy let out a laugh that she remembered so well. The two had always laughed softly as they kissed; not all the time, but out of happiness at certain moments. A certain warmness was starting to fill her as her memories of Teddy became even clearer as he sat next to her. True, Victoire had only been considered an adult for a few years, but she would almost label her feelings right now as teenaged ones. Secretly, she still longed for Teddy, and with him next to her it only made the feeling stronger. Would he find that weird, if she hadn't really been with anybody else since them? Maybe she shouldn't tell him about it.. Yet, something within Victoire practically shouted for her to do so.
The wind still blew a little bit, her let down hair flowing with it; her veela charm almost enhancing with her current beauty. It was moments like these, when Victoire hadn't really troubled too much with her appearance tht the veela within her grew stronger. Another factor, would be what she was feeling at the moment. Passion and other deep feelings such as this caused her to be pushed to new limits. It had been so long since the two had even talked, and simply doing so made her almost happier than ever. Her memories had echoed inside of her head for so long, and now she had a chance to relive her times with Teddy.. Considering the attractive, metamorphmagus wasn't already taken.
If he wasn't, that would be quite a surprise to Victoire. She had always pictured him always being with someone. To her, he didn't really seem like the type to be alone. That isn't even including the fact that his personality was great. He was fun-loving, humorous, and definitely outgoing. Plus, he was attractive. What woman wouldn't like that? However, if he was single, Victoire thought, that would be just quite fabulous. Realizing she was drifting off within her thoughts again, Victoire registered his question and replied.
"My family? Well, everything's great with them, actually." Smiling, she continued, "Papan is still working strong.. It seems like age won't effect him." Laughing a bit while she shook her head, her blonde hair almost whipping side to side as she did so, Victoire mentioned her mother, "As for Maman, she's doign wonderfully. She loves our home at Shell Cottage, and she makes it her own work to make sure that it is in tip-top shape. We have done quite a few renovations over the past few years, you should definitely come see them!" As she invited him over basically, Victoire, too, realized that they were new professors, and they wouldn't really have free time. Well, they would, but not enough to make full visits to somewhere quite distant from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Figuring she should ask about his family as well, she inquired, "How is your Grandmother doing? Well, I hope?"
