Name: Ted Lupin
Age: 24
Subject: Defence against the Dark arts
Blood Line: half
Personality:
Out - going is a good way to describe Teddy's personality. He is often described as his father's son because of their many similarities. He is good-natured and won't let people put him down easily, anyone, Student or adult. If there's a student in his lesson, deliberately trying to wind him up, he won't shout, just pleasantly tell them to 'Shut the hell up.' He is just generally like that. He makes it clear what he expects of people, but decides that shouting at them, is not the way to reinforce it.
He is comical in more ways than one. He enjoys sharing a good joke, even at his own expense, which is often the case. He inherited his father's good nature but also his mother's knack for dropping things and knocking stuff over. He won't go through one day without, either bumping into someone, spilling pumpkin juice down his robes, knocking something fragile out of someone’s hands or dropping the important pile of documents he was holding. It is rather annoying, more for other people than himself because he has grown so used to it, he expects it to happen, and you could say he expects the worst.
However relaxed and out-going Teddy Lupin may seem, he has a very sensitive and protective side, having lost both parents and not knowing either of them. His family is a very sensitive topic and he will, if he doesn't want it to be discussed, become dark, snap at you and become short-tempered. 'Cranky' for want of a better word. He has learnt all about his family history from his godfather, Harry Potter and although he is proud that his parents died fighting a great cause, he is still very 'delicate' around the subject, who wouldn't be? This leads him to be over protective of the people his loves, he is scared he is going to lose them as well and he just really cares about everyone who has grown up around him, as well as the people he has grown up around.
History:
Ted grew up an orphan, no parents. He did however have his grandmother, Andromeda Tonks, [His mum's mum] to care for him. She is his closest relative and the person he cares for the most. She brought him up as she would any child, maybe she did mollycoddle him a bit, who wouldn't? But she tried to let him lead a normal lifestyle. As normal as can be expected for a wizard and metamorphmagus.
He grew up in the wizarding world, and from a young age, around 5, he found his magic. His grandma had cruelly put his favourite sweet, chocolate frogs, on top of the kitchen cupboards, out of his reach, to stop him eating too many. He was so angry, he refused to move from the middle of the kitchen floor where he sat, staring longingly at the candy. As soon as his grandmother had left the room, the box of chocolate fell down from the top of the cupboard and landed at his greedy feet. He ate the whole box happily, knowing he had 'found his magic' and tricked his grandma - 2 death eaters with one curse.
From the day he was born, it was obvious he was a metamorphmagus. But it wasn't until his fourth birthday that he had any definite control over it. From that day onwards, he would stand in front of the bathroom mirror and change his appearance. He would spend hours doing it and it always made his grandmother laugh, when he went down to dinner with a pig snout instead of a nose.
Teddy knew his parents were dead but he didn't ask how and why they died until he was 10 years old. It was strange, but before then, it never occurred to him to ask, he never had any reason to ask but one day a burning desire arose inside of him. He felt that it was the right time and that it was important to know. And so, he decided that after one of his many evening meals around his house, he would ask Harry. He was his godfather so obviously knew his parents. He also felt more comfortable asking Harry about it, for some unknown reason.
And so he was told everything. From how his dad knew Harry's dad, that he was a werewolf, bitten at a young age and that was why when Ted was angry or upset, he had a wolfish urge. That his mother was related to Harry’s godfather, that she was a metamorphmagus. That Teddy was named after his granddad and that his parent shad died together fighting against Lord Voldemort's followers, to help Harry conquer over the evil Dark Lord. Ted of course knows all about his godfather, well as much as he has been told or read about. And he feels so privileged to be a part of such a brave and courageous family.
Appearance:
Even though he can change his appearance at will, Teddy sticks to one general look. He has a rounded face but has often been told it is heart-shaped, but people can only see that if he decides to wear his hair short, which isn't very often. Naturally, his hair, he thinks his hair is a light brown colour and very tufty. However, when he was little and had no control over his metamorphmosing, it changed colour rapidly and was set in curls. So he keeps it, generally that way. Sometimes, curls begin to drive the young man crazy so he often wears it straight. He does like to change the colour of his hair as well. When he has an array of colours at his disposal and each can be chosen and dumped at will, it's hard not to change it every day. He knows that it annoys some of his colleagues, but he thinks his students enjoy it.
The features on his smooth face are handsomely chiselled. His lips look short and thin but can bear the biggest of grins. His nose, to him, looks squashed, and is the one feature he has trouble changing to look good, he just can't do it. So, as with the rest of his facial features, he leaves it be. His eyes are round and framed by thick light brown eyebrows. His eye colour can also be changed, but he prefers to leave them as dark brown although he won't be seen without a blue sparkle at times and when he is angry or in one of his 'sensitive' moods, they, without his help, become extraordinarily narrow and a gleaming yellow, almost like a wolf...

The arcade. Tyler loved it, he could spend hours just shoveling money into those machines even though they never gave you any back. Well, hardly any at all. They were just so addicting, He was only 16 but Tyler swore he was a gambler already. He stuck his coins into a slot machine and pushed the buttons. Nothing. What a waste, but once more he pushed another coin into the slot. How much money he'd lost that morning he didn't know but still he persisted in putting his money into the machines.
The only thing that could tear him away from his craving to lose money in a machine was the rumbling of his stomach and this meant to hand over yet more money to the guy behind the counter. He made his way over to the food stand and bought a double cheeseburger. Cheeseburgers were his favourite along with chocolate. Who didn't like chocolate? He handed over nearly the last of his money and pushed his now more considerably lighter wallet back into his black jeans back pocket. He turned and scanned the room for somewhere to sit. He hated sitting alone he didn't want to look a loner, he was so self conscious, you wouldn't believe.
His eyes met Ashlyn and he smiled and went over. She looked like she was enjoying her pizza. "Mind if I sit?" He asked, smiling at her. "Or should we not be seen together in public? He laughed.
