Name:
James Potter
Nicknames: Jay, Jamie
Age:
16
Year:
6th
House:
Gryffindor
Blood Line:
Pure
Personality: He is more like his mum than his dad and has been often told he has the Weasley charm like his uncle George. And although his father had a certain talent for trouble, having inherited this talent from both sides of the family, James is five times worse. He is always playing jokes on people, or winding up his little brother, just as any elder brother would. However, he is more protective over his sister, which she doesn't seem to like too much. His mother was the only girl, and she is always telling him to leave his sister be, that she is perfectly capable of looking after herself.
James has always been a bit of a nosy boy, always wanting to know what was going on around him, and to be involved in the conversation, this normally leads to him asking lots of questions, but he is just really inquisitive and curious and hates being left in the dark. If this happens, he will demand to know, especially if it involves himself or his friends. He is protective over his friends and would do anything for them. He flares up immediately when someone is winding him up or criticizing his friends or family and pulls out his wand straight away.
He likes nothing more than to relax with his friends, sit and talk or to cook up some plan, involving lots of noise and mayhem. He is forever using his inheritance of the marauders map and the invisibility cloak, to sneak out at night and wander around the castle, discovering all the secret passage ways. But his favourite place is the astronomy tower. He finds it a strange place, knowing what happened up there and that his father was present, but it's also very relaxing for him.
History:
The eldest Potter child, James grew up not knowing much of his dad's history. He was more interested, in picking on his little brother Albus when he was born. He loves have two younger siblings and although he thinks he is always worse of because he's the eldest, so always gets the blame, he would be so very bored without the two of them.
He always enjoyed listening to his dad about his experiences at Hogwarts and couldn't wait to get there and reenact them himself. He was often told how cheeky he was and that his personality matched that of his fathers. He learnt he had skill at defence against the dark arts and conjuring the bat bogey hex, which was a specialty of his mothers.
All he know about his father, is that he defeated Voldemort with the help of his Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione. James, strangely never wanted to be told the whole truth when he was younger, he enjoyed with his brother and sister and Ron and Hermione's children, Hugo and Rosie, to make up what happened in there own imaginations and they came up with some wild ideas. Harry used to tell James about flying on dragons and being locked in cellars, but James was never sure if he was telling the truth or not.
But now, whenever he asks his father or uncle or aunty what happened, truthfully, they will never spill the total truth, which of course winds the poor boy up. He feels like they don't trust him or think he is too young to understand. Maybe they enjoy keeping him in the dark. And because no one at Hogwarts knows the entire truth but soon people seem to know more than even James and his family do, it annoys him greatly. He just now, wants to know the truth.
Appearance: Very often, he is told how like his father he is but everyone tells him, he looks like a Weasley. When he was younger his hair was a gingery brown colour and everyone thought it was going to turn into the Weasley red. But they were wrong. His hair turned jet black, just like his fathers. He has his mothers dark brown eyes though and is built like his mother and uncle George, short but rather stocky.
His hair however is straight and unlike his dad's, sits neatly and long around his face. His lips are thin and his eyes rounded like galleons and a dark brown. His skin is a slight tan colour like he's spent too much time in the sun and his ears, whenever he is in an awkward situation, turn red at the tips.

Boredom was currently taking over Aidan's mind. He lay on his bed in the seventh year dormitory, in Gryffindor tower, staring up at the canopy of his scarlet four poster bed and let out a deep sigh. Hands lay clasped on his chest as his eyes opened and closed every few seconds. He'd bewitched part of the canopy of his bed to reflect his image, so he could see if he was mastering his metamorphosing, making sure his eyes were actually changing to the colours he wanted them to.
It was working OK, when suddenly, as he willed them to turn red, his hair colour changed to bright turquoise. He groaned in anger, he was never going to master this. Rearranging himself to his normal features, dark brown eyes and blonde, brown hair, he rolled off his bed and left the room. He entered the common room to find it was full of first and second years. He sighed again, and left through the portrait. Wondering where the hell everyone was.
He walked, peering into classrooms as he went. Occasionally, in open ones, he saw a few people, sitting on desks and chatting away, but no one he knew was ever there. Stuffing his hands into his jean pockets that sat neatly around his waist he finally reached the ground floor. He'd almost given up when a final classroom caught his eye.
He'd never been in that room before. He wasn't sure if he had or not until he entered and let out in a low voice, "Bloody hell" ... It was like he'd walked into a forest. Trees and plants everywhere, he looked up at the ceiling. There was no ceiling, it was the sky, like in the Great Hall, and Aidan guessed it was bewitched. He followed a path on the floor around and to his surprise, but not disappointment, saw Suzette lying on her back.
Smiling to himself he walked over and found that she was in a kind of daydream. Standing with his feet behind her head, he bent down, and waved his hand over her face. "Hello?" He called.
